Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work for logos and flat graphics?

Yes. Logos with a clear shape on a plain background usually cut out well in Fast mode. For gradients, thin strokes or similar colors between the logo and its background, switch to Best quality and finish with the brush.

How do I keep the small letters and thin lines of a logo?

Choose the Restore brush and paint over any letter or hairline that was removed. Reduce the brush size for tiny details. Undo reverts the last stroke if you go outside the shape.

What resolution should my logo have?

Use the largest version you have. The cutout is applied to your original file, so the PNG keeps the same pixel size. The AI cannot add detail, so upscale a very small logo first with the WrapPix image upscaler.

Can I remove the background from a logo that is already a vector file?

SVG files are rasterized when you add them, so you get a PNG cutout. If you still have the original vector, deleting its background shape in your design tool gives a perfect, scalable result.
